Each week, I will provide a brief update on each team, including the latest injury concerns and performances from the past week. This will also include recommendations for potential waiver-wire pickups and suggested FAAB bids. FAAB bids and availability will be based on the FPPC $1000 bankroll. Week 15 is in the books. Let’s reason backward to look forward for all 32 teams. Players mentioned as possible waiver wire additions are available in at least 6% of FPPC leagues at this time.  

Arizona Cardinals

Offense has looked better with Brissett, but it is 1-8 with him at the helm.  

Possible Waiver Wire Adds: Jacoby Brissett is worth a $100 bid and is available in 56% of 1QB FPPC leagues. RB Michael Carter is the last man standing in the RB room, worth a $150 bid, and is available in 76% of leagues. 

Atlanta Falcons

The team has too much talent to be four games under 500 this season

First place, the Chicago Bears have a nice ring to it, but need a win this week to stay there.

Indianapolis Colts

Have already checked on the status of Edgerrin James, Reggie Wayne, and Dallas Clark, and they are available in case of injuries down the stretch.

Miami Dolphins

If they don’t fire their coach after this season, then they are not a serious franchise.

Possible Waiver Wire Add: TE Darren Waller is a considerable risk, but as you saw last week, he can give you a nice reward with red zone targets. He is worth a $100 bid this week and is available in 23% of FPPC leagues.  

Minnesota Vikings

JJ McCarthy might be good enough to get them to spend another season finding out how good he can be 

Possible Waiver Wire Add: If you are desperate for a WR start this week, Jailen Nailor has developed chemistry with McCarthy. He is worth a $50 bid but is a big risk/reward guy who could flop.  

New England Patriots

Patriots’ fans violated the first rule of fandom curses by celebrating a win after the first half of a game that ended up being a dreadful loss.

Maybe they didn’t find their next Franchise QB, but this team plays hard for their leaders.

Possible Waiver Wire Add: QB Tyler Shough has not been great, but he won’t hurt you if you need an emergency replacement at QB. He is worth a $50 bid and is available in 29% of FPPC leagues. WR Devaughan Vele got banged up a little last week, but is worth a $75 bid if you need a replacement. 

New York Giants

Jaxson Dart has been in concussion protocol after half of his starts, which must be a new NFL record.

The Bears got the best of the Lions’ old coordinators 

Possible Waiver Wire Add: WR Adonai Mitchell has two strong games in the last three starts. Anyone on this Jets offense is a risky play, but if you are desperate, he is worth a $100 bid and is available in 30% of FPPC Leagues.  

Philadelphia Eagles 

I have never seen a defending Super Bowl champion with so many issues

Coach Tomlin is just one win away from keeping his impressive streak of winning seasons alive, but the fan base still hopes he parts ways with the team after the season.

The only thing worse than not finding your Franchise QB is finding a guy just above average that you feel you need to hold on to for any chance of winning.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

 Can they mount a strong finish now that all of their offensive stars are healthy at the same time?

I’m calling it right now, IF this team rebuilds their offensive line in the offseason, they will make the playoffs next year.  

Possible Waiver Wire Add: TE Gunnar Helm is developing into a solid player toward the end of his rookie season and is worth a $75 bid.  

Washington Commanders

Shutting QB Jayden Daniels down is the right call. 

Possible Waiver Wire Add: QB Marcus Mariota will get the start for the rest of the Fantasy Football playoffs; he is worth a $50 bid and is available in 85% of FPPC leagues.
