Science of Fantasy Football Lab
Each week, I will provide a brief update on each team, including the latest injury concerns and performances from the past week. This will also include recommendations for potential waiver-wire pickups and suggested FAAB bids. FAAB bids and availability will be based on the FPPC $1000 bankroll. Week 15 is in the books. Let’s reason backward to look forward for all 32 teams. Players mentioned as possible waiver wire additions are available in at least 6% of FPPC leagues at this time.
Arizona Cardinals
Offense has looked better with Brissett, but it is 1-8 with him at the helm.
Possible Waiver Wire Adds: Jacoby Brissett is worth a $100 bid and is available in 56% of 1QB FPPC leagues. RB Michael Carter is the last man standing in the RB room, worth a $150 bid, and is available in 76% of leagues.
Atlanta Falcons
The team has too much talent to be four games under 500 this season
No Waiver Targets This Week
Baltimore Ravens
The team has too much talent to be 500 this season
No Waiver Targets This Week
Buffalo Bills
Never write off Josh Allen until the clock is down to all zeroes
No Waiver Targets This Week

Still in the hunt for a playoff spot in week 15
Possible Waiver Wire Add: WR Jalen Coker is becoming one of the top targets for an improving QB. He is worth a $100 bid on FPPC and is available in 30% of FPPC leagues.
Chicago Bears
First place, the Chicago Bears have a nice ring to it, but need a win this week to stay there.
No Waiver Targets This Week
Cincinnati Bengals
Maybe they realize their defensive woes were not due to the coordinator last season.
No Waiver Targets This Week
Cleveland Browns
Do the Browns ever regret giving up on Mayfield?
No Waiver Targets This Week
Dallas Cowboys
The Super Bowl drought continues
Possible Waiver Wire Add: RB Malik Davis is the next man up at RB if Javonte Williams cannot go. He is worth a $100 bid in FPPC and is available in 78% of FPPC leagues.
Denver Broncos
Tapping into that same formula that helped the Chiefs win so much last season
No Waiver Targets This Week
Detroit Lions
Need a strong finish to make the playoffs this season
No Waiver Targets This Week
Green Bay Packers
The Packers/Bears rivalry is more fun when both teams are good
No Waiver Targets This Week
Houston Texans
Don’t look now, but the Texans might be the most feared team in the AFC
Possible Waiver Wire Add: Woody Marks will likely be ready for the next game, but the only RB left on the bench behind him is Jawhar Jordan, who looked very good last week. He is worth a $150 bid and is available in 86% of FPPC leagues.
Indianapolis Colts
Have already checked on the status of Edgerrin James, Reggie Wayne, and Dallas Clark, and they are available in case of injuries down the stretch.
No Waiver Targets This Week
Jacksonville Jaguars
Occasionally, Trevor Lawrence lives up to his draft capital
No Waiver Targets This Week
Kansas City Chiefs
Sad to see the Mahomes/Kelce era possibly come to an end without a playoff run
No Waiver Targets This Week

No Waiver Targets This Week
Los Angeles Chargers
Amazing, they are still in the hunt despite so many injuries
No Waiver Targets This Week

Miami Dolphins
If they don’t fire their coach after this season, then they are not a serious franchise.
Possible Waiver Wire Add: TE Darren Waller is a considerable risk, but as you saw last week, he can give you a nice reward with red zone targets. He is worth a $100 bid this week and is available in 23% of FPPC leagues.
Minnesota Vikings
JJ McCarthy might be good enough to get them to spend another season finding out how good he can be
Possible Waiver Wire Add: If you are desperate for a WR start this week, Jailen Nailor has developed chemistry with McCarthy. He is worth a $50 bid but is a big risk/reward guy who could flop.
New England Patriots
Patriots’ fans violated the first rule of fandom curses by celebrating a win after the first half of a game that ended up being a dreadful loss.
No Waiver Targets This Week
New Orleans Saints
Maybe they didn’t find their next Franchise QB, but this team plays hard for their leaders.
Possible Waiver Wire Add: QB Tyler Shough has not been great, but he won’t hurt you if you need an emergency replacement at QB. He is worth a $50 bid and is available in 29% of FPPC leagues. WR Devaughan Vele got banged up a little last week, but is worth a $75 bid if you need a replacement.
New York Giants
Jaxson Dart has been in concussion protocol after half of his starts, which must be a new NFL record.
No Waiver Targets This Week
New York Jets
The Bears got the best of the Lions’ old coordinators
Possible Waiver Wire Add: WR Adonai Mitchell has two strong games in the last three starts. Anyone on this Jets offense is a risky play, but if you are desperate, he is worth a $100 bid and is available in 30% of FPPC Leagues.
Philadelphia Eagles
I have never seen a defending Super Bowl champion with so many issues
No Waiver Targets This Week
Pittsburgh Steelers
Coach Tomlin is just one win away from keeping his impressive streak of winning seasons alive, but the fan base still hopes he parts ways with the team after the season.
No Waiver Targets This Week
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are the most complete team in the NFC, but they may not win their own division.
No Waiver Targets This Week
Seattle Seahawks
The only thing worse than not finding your Franchise QB is finding a guy just above average that you feel you need to hold on to for any chance of winning.
Possible Waiver Wire Add: TE AJ Barner is a solid low-end starter at TE. He is worth a $100 bid and is available in 52% of FPPC leagues.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Can they mount a strong finish now that all of their offensive stars are healthy at the same time?
No Waiver Targets This Week
Tennessee Titans
I’m calling it right now, IF this team rebuilds their offensive line in the offseason, they will make the playoffs next year.

Washington Commanders
Shutting QB Jayden Daniels down is the right call.
