FakePigSkin.com was a lovely partner to many in the Fantasy Football Community. He/she led to the start of many careers in the Fantasy Football and sports writing world. FakePigSkin might be gone, but it will not be forgotten. Nobody remembers the exact date FPS was born, but they died on May 18, 2022, from complications that were traced back to the Covid 19 Pandemic. While many Fantasy Football websites do the same old same old, the Fake Pig always pushed the envelope with unique content. Who needs 105, 567, and 302 websites with waiver add that don’t match with the available players in your home league anyway? The FakePigSkin is survived by Porky (B1935), Miss Piggy (B1974), Piglet (B1926), Hamm (B1995), Babe (B1983).and Gunter (B2016). Please leave your hot takes on Fantasy Football Twitter in lieu of flowers.

You can’t keep a good man down, so you couldn’t keep the Dynamic Duo of Professor John Bush and me down. So we announce that the “Science of Fantasy Football Podcast” will continue to a new home! Unfortunately, FakePigSkin is gone, which is sad, but it allows us to take you inside our Science of Fantasy Football Laboratory. 

Find out where all that tremendous statistical data gets created! Enjoy a new home for all of the Professor’s lessons on making you a better Fantasy Football Player, whether you are a cagey veteran or a newbie to the game. I will even show you all the work behind the scenes that developed my unique Weekly Statistical Tool called Best 10, which celebrates its Sweet Six season this year. 

Before we go today, I wanted to share a few thoughts from some of the friends of Fake Pig Skin that will miss the Fake Pig the most. 

Miss Piggy- “A friend of mine often says it’s not easy being green, but you should see how uneasy it can be when your friend FakePigSkin dies. I don’t care what you think of me and my opinion on the loss of FakePigSkin unless you think I am awesome. In that case, you are right.”

Gunter- “Get ready cause I am warning you that the new Science of Fantasy Football Website is about to explode!”
