Waiver Wire Wonders for Week 12

Let’s Go Shopping- Waiver Wire After Week 11

The injuries keep piling up, and four teams are on bye this week, which makes this an even more challenging week for your waiver wire picks. Joe Burrow and Mark Andrews were knocked out of the game, and the RB situation is a continuing mess after a few reliable players. Check that secondary waiver wire market after you see who gets dropped. Sometimes, stashing that player on his bye week can be advantageous for the rest of the season. Let’s go shopping!

 Starter Worthy Weeks of Note- (ESPN Availability 30% or More)

QB6 Tommy DeVito finished with 22.5 points. A pleasant surprise for those who took a gamble on DeVito in Superflex leagues last week.

QB7 Kyler Murray finished with 21.7 points and looked as good as new.

QB9 Jordan Love finished with 20.9 points and has been reasonably consistent in fake football all season.

QB11 Joshua Dobbs finished with 18.9 points and has given new hope to Vikings fans.

===================================================================

RB8 Devin Singletary finished with 19.8 points and is getting the volume on a solid offense.

RB15 Ty Chandler finished with 15.0 points and looked like the better option for the Vikings.

RB16 Ty Johnson finished with 14.8 points in garbage time duty for the Bills.

RB17 Samaje Perine finished with 13.7 points and continues to get the passing down duty for the Broncos.

RB18 Zach Charbonnet finished with 12.9 points and took over RB1 duties for the Seahawks with the injury to KW3.

RB19 Darrel Henderson finished with 12.9 points, but Kyren Williams is expected back for week 12.

RB20 Salvon Ahmed finished with 12.1 points and got the backup RB duty over Wilson due to his ability to play special teams, which makes him an appealing backup in fake football.

===================================================================

WR9 Khalil Shakir finished with 20.5 points and continues to get over 70% of the offensive snaps on a great passing offense. He Should be rostered more in all formats.

WR11 Jaylen Reed finished with 19.2 points thanks to a 46-yard rushing TD but got 69% of the snaps and is an excellent addition to fake football with Christian Watson injured.

WR13 Darius Slayton finished with 16.6 points in an unlikely solid game for the Giants' passing offense.

WR16 Romeo Doubs finished with 16.3 points and has scored double digits in PPR, scoring in 7 of 10 games this season.

WR20 Odell Beckham Jr finished with 15.6 points and has three double-digit games in a row.

WR23 Greg Dortch finished with 13.6 points and got his first game over 40 snaps, with Michael Wilson missing the game due to an injury.

===================================================================

TE3 Josh Oliver finished with 14.7 points in a game that saw the Vikings shorthanded at WR.

TE5 Stone Smart finished with 12.1 points, which all came on one 51-yard TD catch.

TE7 Logan Thomas finished with 10.8 points unless you count the lost fumble.

TE9 Luke Schoonmaker finished with 10.3 points, showing the value of a red zone target.

TE10 Donald Parham finished with 9.7 points as Gerald Everett missed the game.

Wrapping It Up

Too many managers need to check back on the players available in their leagues after waivers clear on Tuesday Night or Wednesday. This time of the year, as we head through the Bye weeks, managers will try to float a guy through waivers if they have a tight roster due to injuries and byes. Always check to see who is dropped for their waiver moves because that player could be better than your worst bench player. Good luck with waivers this week.
