Science of Fantasy Football Lab
Each week, I will provide a brief update on each team, including the latest injury concerns and performances from the past week. This will also include recommendations for potential waiver-wire pickups and suggested FAAB bids. FAAB bids and availability will be based on the FPPC $1000 bankroll. Week 16 is in the books. Let’s reason backward to look forward for all 32 teams. Players mentioned as possible waiver wire additions are available in at least 6% of FPPC leagues at this time.
Arizona Cardinals
Jacoby Brissett has finished in the Top 12 at QB in week 9 of 10 starts this year, but the Cardinals have only won once in those 10 starts, showing the disconnect between real NFL value and Fantasy Football value.
Possible Waiver Wire Adds: Jacoby Brissett is worth a $100 bid and is available in 56% of 1QB FPPC leagues. RB Michael Carter is the last man standing in the RB room, worth a $150 bid, and is available in 65% of leagues.
Atlanta Falcons
Drake London only got a lot of great cardio work last week, but he should be better this week.

I still haven’t figured out how they lost that game to the Bears last week, but I think the ghosts of Dave Duerson and Walter Payton were actively involved.
No Waiver Targets This Week
Houston Texans
They still haven’t clinched a playoff spot, but they have the best defense right now and should be the team others don’t want to play.
Possible Waiver Wire Add: Woody Marks will probably be ready this week, but the only RB left on the bench behind him is Jawhar Jordan, and he looked perfect again last week. He is worth a $150 bid and is available in 89% of FPPC leagues.
Indianapolis Colts
The fact that a 44-year-old QB who has been away from the game for 5 seasons is doing better than many young QBs is an indictment of the QB play in the league right now.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence has posted some impressive Fantasy Football numbers and has also led his team to some significant victories in real football.

One look at this roster, when healthy, and they are the number one open coaching vacancy in the NFL right now.

New York Jets
Garrett Wilson has only played six games yet leads the Jets in receiving yards this season.
Possible Waiver Wire Add: WR Adonai Mitchell has two strong games in the last three starts. Anyone on this Jets offense is a risky play, but if you are desperate, he is worth a $100 bid and is available in 30% of FPPC Leagues.
