2026 Fantasy Football Lab is Open for Business
Tuesday, September 22, 2026 · After Week 2
Consensus expert priority (FantasyPros ECR, NFL.com, CBS, The Athletic, USA Today) + next-4 Vegas script (implied team totals/spreads) + recent positional volume + opportunity (snap/route share, WOPR/target-carry share, xFP residual). Scores are composites on a 0–100 scale. Roster % varies by platform; treat anyone over ~55% as “check your league first.”
APP Rank
Jonah Coleman is the clear consensus #1 add across NFL.com, FantasyPros, The Athletic, and ClutchPoints. Young and Boston sit just behind him. Schultz is the top TE when available. Shough is the best “already producing” QB still on many wires. Note: NYG Dart's Bad News will drive the FAABs up this week for QB!
Next-4 Game Script
Young: CAR @CLE (W3, CAR favored, modest total), then a workable stretch.
Shough/Vele/Johnson: NO vs LV (W3, Saints favored), then ATL/MIN — pass-heavy Kellen Moore offense helps.
Coleman: DEN vs LAR (close SNF, mid-40s total), then @SF and @LAC — decent but not elite scoring environment.
Boston: CLE vs CAR / PIT / @NYJ — lower implied totals cap ceiling.
Bigsby: PHI @CHI then vs LAR — solid if Barkley is limited.
Schultz: HOU @IND then vs DAL — middling-to-good implied passing volume if Nico Collins remains limited.
Team Positional Volume
Saints and Panthers are throwing at a high rate. Denver remains a run-oriented committee when healthy. Cleveland’s offense is inefficient, but Boston is the clear downfield/route winner. Houston’s TE usage spiked without Collins. Eagles backfield volume is high when Barkley is out or limited.
Opportunity PC
Coleman: 25 snaps and 13 touches (TD) with Dobbins/Harvey out; out-snapped Tyler Badie. Role survives even if the veterans return as a committee piece.
Boston: TD in each of first two weeks, team-high targets in W2, elite YPRR, high route participation.
Schultz: 14 targets / 12-140 in W2; TE1 week. Residual volume should persist even if Collins returns.
Young: Dual-threat production (QB2 range through two weeks).
Vele: 96% WR snaps, clear WR2 behind Olave with Tyson on IR.
Bigsby: 15 touches and a TD when Barkley was limited by a stinger; MRI pending.
Wicks: High route share behind DeVonta Smith; strong YPRR.
80+ (Coleman, Young, Boston): Clear role or injury-replacement upside in Weeks 1–4. Spend aggressively if you have an RB/WR hole.
65–79 (Shough, Vele, Schultz, Bigsby): Strong weekly starters or high-upside committee pieces.
50–64: Streamers/stash. $1–6 is enough in most 12-team leagues.
Confirm Barkley (stinger/shoulder MRI), Dobbins/Harvey (hamstrings — “good” reports but monitor practice), Flowers (hamstring), Collins, and Goedert before locking bids.
No byes in Week 3. Spend more now than you will in midseason.
Top overall priority if you can only bid on one name: Jonah Coleman, then Denzel Boston or Bryce Young depending on roster need.
