2026 Fantasy Football Lab is Open for Business
The GSPI (Game Script Predictive Index) attempts to envision the levels of passing and rushing for team and player prop understanding.
This slate is treated in SCRIPT-PRIMARY mode: remaining Sunday–Monday games still project expected starters, so live spreads, implied totals, and the quarterback who will actually take snaps drive labels.
Two games are final. Seattle beat New England 13–10 after Sam Darnold exited on the opening drive with a hip injury; Drew Lock closed, Drake Maye threw three fourth-quarter interceptions, and A.J. Brown left with a high-ankle sprain (expected four-plus weeks). San Francisco beat the Rams 27–7 in Melbourne: Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes, Matthew Stafford was pulled late, and the Rams’ −3.5 Mild Positive script inverted into a two-score 49ers closeout. Fourteen games remain.
Pittsburgh to −4.5, Philadelphia to −6,
Jacksonville total down to 39.5–40,
Tennessee total to 38.5,
Las Vegas to −3.
Weather tails still sit on Jacksonville heat and a Philadelphia precip chance.
Offensive EPA/play figures remain 2025-season marks and are not treated as live-unit ratings where the 2026 starter differs.
Flags: CHI WR Rome Odunze Questionable (calf). NO RB Alvin Kamara Limited (knee) after earlier MCL reports — not a locked DNP. ATL QB Tua Tagovailoa Questionable (oblique); Penix remains Out. ARI RB Jeremiyah Love Limited (ankle). KC QB Patrick Mahomes Full in practice, still a post-ACL unit. LV TE Brock Bowers Out.
Pittsburgh’s move to −4.5 and Philadelphia’s move to −6 stay capped at Mild. They are closer to two-score territory than Tuesday but still need the live QB (Tua’s oblique; Daniels on the road) to confirm a blowout path. Las Vegas stays Low confidence with Bowers Out and a Cousins-led unit that does not match 2025 Raiders EPA.
Sixteen-game slate: compressed everywhere; expanded on Strong / High / heavy-rest / live-unit change.
FINAL SEA–NE. SEA: Darnold series 1 only (hip); Lock bulk rest of game; JSN featured. NE: Maye bulk; Stevenson bulk with Henderson Out; Brown left in Q3, out four-plus weeks.
FINAL LAR–SF. SF: Purdy bulk; CMC and Kaelon Black split carries; Evans / Samuel / Robinson scored; Tonges and Stribling exited. LAR: Stafford bulk until late pull; Kyren the only score.
CAR–CHI. Young / Hubbard (Brooks Q). Williams / Swift; Odunze Q.
CIN–TB. Burrow / Brown / Chase / Higgins expected. Mayfield expected.
IND–BAL. Jones (Achilles return, reduced designed run) / Taylor. Jackson / Henry / Flowers / Andrews.
HOU–BUF. Stroud / Collins / Montgomery. Allen / Cook (Johnson hamstring DNP).
DET–NO (expanded). Goff / Gibbs bulk / St. Brown / LaPorta. Shough bulk. Kamara Limited — token-to-committee, not locked bulk. Estimé DNP.
JAX–CLE (expanded). Lawrence bulk. Watson bulk. Heat-adjusted late snaps.
PIT–ATL (expanded). Rodgers bulk. Tua Q / Penix Out / Rush on standby. Bijan bulk regardless of QB.
TEN–NYJ. Ward bulk. Geno / Hall (full) / Wilson.
LAC–ARI (expanded). Herbert / Hampton bulk. Brissett bulk. Love Limited — series 1–2 only if active.
LV–MIA. Cousins bulk; Bowers Out; Jeanty expected. Willis / Achane bulk.
MIN–GB. Murray / Jefferson. Love / Lloyd bulk with Jacobs Out.
PHI–WAS. Hurts / Barkley / Smith. Daniels / McLaurin / Diggs.
NYG–DAL. Dart / Nabers expected. Prescott / Lamb.
KC–DEN (expanded). Mahomes expected bulk if cleared; Fields inherits if not. Walker bulk. Nix bulk.
Personnel outranks script on Kamara (Limited), Love (Limited), Bowers (Out), Jacobs (Out), Penix (Out), Tua (Questionable), and Mahomes (live but post-ACL).
Strong / Mild Positive
RB: Elevated carry share, early-down work, goal-line looks. Rushing-yard and rushing-TD overs are the cleanest aligned props. Reception floors can shrink if the offense stays on schedule.
QB: Attempts and passing yards often compress unless the offense is pass-first or the total is 50-plus. Dual-threat rushing can still clear. Passing-TD overs need the implied total, not script alone.
WR/TE: Target volume can sag in a lead. Red-zone TE and WR1 TD equity remains. WR2/WR3 volume is the first cut.
Neutral
Drive props from role and matchup. Do not pay a script premium.
Strong / Mild Negative
RB: Carries fall; passing-down backs and checkdowns rise.
QB: Dropbacks and passing-yard overs gain equity if the implied total still supports scoring. Dual-threat rushing can vanish.
WR/TE: Route volume rises. WR2/slot and TE checkdowns benefit first.
Wednesday and Thursday add a live caveat: a Mild Positive favorite can invert if the starting QB exits (Darnold) or if travel/defensive disruption flips the lead path (Rams in Melbourne).
Apply GSPI direction only to players confirmed or highly likely to play meaningful series. Discount any prop tied to a locked starter expected to rest. This week remains SCRIPT-PRIMARY for healthy Sunday–Monday starters; when a starter is Out, Limited, or Questionable, snap share comes first. Prefer Strong labels only when Confidence is Medium or High. Weather is secondary — Jacksonville heat can trim late pace; Philadelphia rain can nudge Barkley.
C. Highest-Conviction Prop Angles
Jahmyr Gibbs, DET, Strong Positive, bulk RB snaps with Goff and the starters intact.
Omarion Hampton, LAC, Strong Positive, bulk early-down snaps with Herbert and a two-score implied gap.
Trevor Lawrence, JAX, Strong Positive, bulk QB snaps as an 8.5-point home favorite.
Saquon Barkley, PHI, Mild Positive, bulk RB snaps; −6 and precip are secondary rush leans.
Derrick Henry, BAL, Mild Positive, bulk early-down snaps as a 3.5-point favorite.
Chris Olave, NO, Strong Negative, bulk WR1 routes with Kamara Limited and a pass-leaning deficit script.
MarShawn Lloyd, GB, Neutral, bulk early-down snaps with Josh Jacobs Out.
De’Von Achane, MIA, Mild Negative team script, locked RB1 snaps with Willis.
Marvin Harrison Jr., ARI, Strong Negative, WR1 routes behind Brissett in a deficit script.
Chase Brown, CIN, Mild Positive, early-down snaps if Cincinnati leads in a 50.5 total.
Three strongest positive-script teams (remaining)
Los Angeles Chargers — Strong Positive, High — Rush ×1.22 / Pass ×0.82
Jacksonville Jaguars — Strong Positive, High — Rush ×1.20 / Pass ×0.84
Detroit Lions — Strong Positive, High — Rush ×1.18 / Pass ×0.86
Three strongest negative-script teams (remaining)
Arizona Cardinals — Strong Negative, High — Rush ×0.78 / Pass ×1.20
Cleveland Browns — Strong Negative, High — Rush ×0.80 / Pass ×1.18
New Orleans Saints — Strong Negative, High — Rush ×0.82 / Pass ×1.16
Philadelphia vs. Washington: −6 was capped at Mild; a Commanders road stall plus rain can stretch this past the headline six.
Atlanta at Pittsburgh: Tua’s oblique plus Penix inactive is a live-unit downgrade that already pushed the number to −4.5.
Completed Melbourne game already realized a blowout the pre-game Mild labels missed. Do not treat that inversion as a reason to upgrade Sunday Strong sides further; those three already sit at the cap.
